Simulating returns on PV investments in Poland
Poland now aims to pay the equivalent of as much as 27 cents per kilowatt-hour for solar power for 15 years. The rate is roughly 50 percent higher than in Germany, though such feed-in tariffs are also usually guaranteed for 20 years. Now, a German software firm in the PV sector hopes that its simulation software will become widely used as Poland builds up its solar sector. A guest post by German journalist Matthias Brake.
