License issued for 1MW tidal energy project in New York's East River
Yesterday the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued a pilot commercial license to Verdant Power’s RITE Project. Up to 30 underwater turbine generators could be turning the East River's tides into clean electricity by 2015. read more »
